FOOD AND DRINKS

A gastronomic adventure awaits you on our tiny island! From hearty meat & vegetarian dishes and specialty cheeses to unique desserts of carob and grapes! The Cypriot cuisine is an exotic blend of Greek and Middle East cultures, sprinkled with remnants of ancient civilisations such as indigenous Roman root vegetables or old Phoenician delicacies. Cooked with home grown ingredients, as its turbulent past made Cyprus practically self-sufficient and in rural areas families still produce most of what they need.

Indulge yourselves to a feast of flavours… kali orexi!

The amazing AGRINO restaurant belongs to the Apokryfo Traditional House, just stone’s throw away from myLofou. They will gladly accept non guests for meals, and we cannot recommend them enough! Their menu is traditional Cypriot cuisine full of originality and prepared with wholesome fresh produce. The restaurant is open throughout the day. Breakfast features locally baked bread, greek yogurt, homemade preserves along with seasonal fresh fruit. Light homemade platters and salads are available for lunch. Dinner is a meze of carefully prepared wholesome dishes. After dinner drinks can be served on the terrace overlooking the village and surrounding countryside.
